Malaysia – In an effort to strengthen collaboration in the fields of mathematics and statistics, the Head of the Department of Mathematics, Professor Dr. Nurdin, and the Head of the Department of Statistics, Dr. Anna Islamiyati, both representing the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) at Hasanuddin University (UNHAS), were warmly welcomed by the Head of the Institute of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Malaya (UM), Professor Prof. Dr. Wong Kok Bin from the Department of Mathematics, and Associate Prof. Dr. Ng Kok Haur from the Department of Statistics.
