Internal Quality Audit (IQA) of the Bachelor’s Degree Program in Mathematics

The Bachelor’s Degree Program in Mathematics at Hasanuddin University has successfully conducted an Internal Quality Audit (IQA) on Friday, October 27, 2023. The event was attended by IQA assessors, namely Prof. Dr. Jeffry Kusuma and Prof. Dr. Wira, and was graced by the presence of the Chair of the Bachelor’s Degree Program in Mathematics, Prof. Dr. Nurdin.

Internal Quality Audit is a crucial step in maintaining and enhancing the quality of a study program. This activity aims to evaluate the extent to which the study program meets the quality standards set by accrediting institutions. In this IQA, the Bachelor’s Degree Program in Mathematics aimed to ensure that the teaching and learning processes, as well as the facilities and resources provided, align with the established quality standards.

Prof. Dr. Jeffry Kusuma, one of the IQA assessors, expressed, “We highly appreciate the efforts made by the Bachelor’s Degree Program in Mathematics in maintaining and improving the quality of its education. We will conduct a comprehensive evaluation and provide constructive recommendations for necessary improvements.”

Prof. Dr. Nurdin, the Chair of the Master’s Degree Program in Mathematics, welcomed this IQA process and hoped that the audit’s results would assist the program in enhancing the quality of education provided. “We are very open to the suggestions and recommendations from the IQA assessors. We are committed to continually strive to offer the best education to our students.”

The IQA process is a crucial step in upholding the quality of education in the Bachelor’s Degree Program in Mathematics at Hasanuddin University. After the evaluation is complete, the audit’s findings will be presented to the program’s stakeholders for discussion, and improvement measures will be determined. With continuous efforts to enhance the quality of education, the Bachelor’s Degree Program in Mathematics aims to provide a better learning experience for its students.
