Makassar, October 2, 2024 – The Mathematics Department of Hasanuddin University (UNHAS) hosted a guest lecture featuring renowned mathematician Prof. Ahmad Erfanian from Ferdowsi University, Iran. The lecture, held at the Theatre Lecturer II FMIPA Hasanuddin University, covered key topics surrounding Algebra, Graphs, and Probability. Prof. Ahmad Erfanian, an esteemed academic and researcher in the field of mathematics, shared his insights on how algebraic concepts can be applied to various problems in graph theory and probability.

The lecture was attended by faculty members, students, and staff from the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of Hasanuddin University. In his opening remarks, the Head of the Mathematics Department expressed gratitude for Prof. Ahmad Erfanian’s presence and the support from the Algebra Laboratory. He hoped that the lecture would enrich participants’ knowledge and foster interest among students in applied mathematics.
