As part of their community service program, a team of faculty from the S1 Mathematics Program at Hasanuddin University (UNHAS) has collaborated with SMAIT Ar-Rahmah Makassar to conduct guidance sessions for the Computer-Based Written Exam (UTBK). The initiative aims to prepare 12th-grade students for the UTBK, which is one of the entry requirements for higher education institutions.
The initiative has been positively received by both students and the school administration. The Director of SMAIT Ar-Rahmah said, “We are very grateful for the initiative and support from the faculty of the S1 Mathematics Program at UNHAS. This is a concrete example of synergy between higher education institutions and schools to improve the quality of education in Indonesia.”
The UNHAS faculty team has also provided customized modules and learning materials, and they are conducting mock exams as part of the guidance program. It is expected that through this initiative, 12th-grade students at SMAIT Ar-Rahmah will be better prepared and more confident in facing the UTBK.
