Makassar, 5 May 2026 – The Bachelor’s Degree Programme in Mathematics at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Hasanuddin University, hosted a field assessment visit as part of the ASIIN international accreditation process. The visit took place from 5 to 8 May 2026.
ASIIN international accreditation is a strategic step towards ensuring that the delivery of education within the Bachelor’s Degree Programmes in Mathematics is aligned with international quality standards. Through this assessment process, various aspects of the programmes’ delivery were comprehensively reviewed, ranging from the curriculum, the learning process, graduate learning outcomes, the quality assurance system, human resources, academic support facilities, to the programmes’ relevance to the needs of the labour market and developments in scientific knowledge.
The on-site assessment was carried out by an ASIIN assessment team comprising Prof. Dr Bülent Tezkan from the University of Cologne, Prof. Dr Stefan Roth from RWTH Aachen University, Prof. Dr Hilda Assiyatun from the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), Dr Arie Wahyu Wijayanto from the STIS Polytechnic of Statistics, Aifa Maladina Ulya from Yogyakarta State University, and Timur Schmidt from ASIIN staff.
