Vision

To become an internationally recognized study program aiming to develop mathematics based on the Indonesian maritime continent by 2030

Mission

M1.To provide innovative and effective mathematics learning in order to improve students quality and creativity, enabling them to compete at both national and international levels;
M2.To foster a research culture that produces internationally reputable publications;
M3.To play an active role in community service activities and in establishing collaborations with other academic institutions, government, businesses, media, and society;
M4.To implement effective, efficient, and transparent governance in the Mathematics Study Program, based on IT and ISO 9001:2015 standards, in order to achieve the objectives of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education.

Program Educational Objectives (PEO)

The Program Educational Objectives (PEO) of the Bachelor Program in Mathematics (BPM) are formulated as follows:

PEO 1.Graduates are able to contribute as teaching assistants in academic and research institutes;
PEO 2.Graduates are able to contribute as junior researchers in universities and research institutions;
PEO 3.Graduates are able to identify the root causes of problems, whether within the field of mathematics or in other disciplines, and to analyze and formulate strategic solutions to those problems;
PEO 4.Graduates are qualified to apply mathematical methods across multiple sectors in multisectoral contexts;
PEO 5.Graduates are equipped with the development of critical thinking, professional ethics, and adaptability in diverse environments.
